• Personal Information: We collect your phone number, name, location, and academic details like your school and grade during registration to personalize your learning experience.
• Location Data: The mobile application requests access to Coarse/Fine location. We use this data only while the app is in use to connect you with nearby learning cohorts, teachers, and student groups. We do not track location in the background or share your coordinates.
• Biometric & Voice Data (Voice Cloning): For teachers who utilize our AI lesson compiler, we collect and process reference audio recordings of your voice. This biometric data is processed locally on our secure pipelines using machine learning algorithms (such as XTTS/F5-TTS) solely to generate synthetic voices for your custom lesson slides. Reference audio files are deleted immediately after the voice profile model is compiled, and you may request deletion of your voice profile at any time.
• AI Companion Queries: Text inputs and prompts submitted to the Mitra study companion are processed securely to provide tutoring assistance. We do not use your academic queries to train public models.

As a platform serving students, we comply with Section 9 of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian before creating an account. We do not track, target, or profile minors for marketing purposes. Parents have the right to review, edit, or delete their child’s personal data by contacting us at support@safwhigre.com.

Safwhigre Technologies (OPC) Private Limited is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment across our entire ecosystem, including the Paathshala.App mobile application. We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse, exploitation, or harassment.

Specifically, we strictly prohibit the creation, sharing, transmission, uploading, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content related to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on any part of the Paathshala platform. Any violation of these standards will result in immediate termination of the offending user's account, permanent blocking from our services, and direct reporting to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) of India and other appropriate law enforcement authorities.

If you encounter any content or behavior that compromises child safety on Paathshala, or to report a violation, please contact our dedicated Child Safety Point of Contact/Grievance Officer immediately at paathshalasupport@safwhigre.com. All reports are investigated and acted upon with the highest priority within 24 hours.

Users must comply with our community guidelines, ensuring respect for intellectual property and community standards. You are responsible for the content you create and share on our platform.

We prioritize the security of your personal information. Access to user data is strictly controlled through authenticated methods, ensuring that only authorized parties have access. User IDs are anonymized to provide an additional layer of privacy and security.

Currently, we do not share your information with third parties, except for necessary operational reasons. Your data is hosted on Google Cloud and Mongo, adhering to strict data protection and privacy standards.

For teachers who opt for paid features, we use RazorPay, a third-party service, to process payments and maintain bank information securely. We ensure that RazorPay adheres to high standards of security and privacy. However, we recommend reviewing RazorPay's privacy policy to understand how they manage your information.

Users have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of their personal data. Data management options are accessible through the app's settings.

We are not responsible for external links provided by users. Their content and privacy practices are not under our jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. Users will be notified of significant updates.
